Crowdfunding meaning : Crowdfunding is actively pursuing an idea
by raising funds from a huge number of people
known as the "Crowd" through the internet.

Crowdfunding has four basic types:

1) Equity Based Crowdfunding : the crowd receive equity or stocks in the company

2) Reward Based Crowfunding : the crowd receive a product or service
usually at a lower price than its initial open market price and has
the option to have a token/gift/souvenirs as an early supporter

3) Lending Based Crowdfunding : the crowd are repaid for their funds
over a period of time either with or without interest

4) Donation Based Crowdfunding : the crowd give or donate money for a cause
or to a charitable cause without expecting anything in return.


The crowdfunding industry exploded
to over $100 billion
worldwide.
